COVID-19 Response
Safety Is Our Goal
With the global impact of COVID-19, Drop Pin acknowledges that the health and safety of our team and customers are of the utmost importance. We have implemented new policies in line with the Center of Disease Control (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO), and state governments.
We are taking every precaution before, during and after field service:
- Informational signs regarding symptoms, hand washing, personal protective equipment (PPE), and safe distances are visible in all Drop Pin offices.
- Technicians prepare safety kits before dispatch. Kits are complete with PPE and cleaning agents.
- If transporting a product to site, we disinfect/sanitize the product (cleaning agent used is dependent on the surface type). We also disinfect/sanitize the fleet before driving to site.
- All Drop Pin technicians enter sites wearing PPE (facial covering, gloves, goggles) during field service.
- When determining work areas, we will place safety cones at least 6 feet away to maintain a safe social distance.
- We will disinfect/sanitize work areas before and after work is completed.
In these trying times, it is important for your customers to know that your equipment is safe to use. We share the united goal of stopping the spread of COVID-19; we are listening to your concerns and we are here to help.

Community Outreach
In April 2020, Drop Pin partnered with LACAN to resource, design, and build hand washing stations for the homeless population of Los Angeles. We committed to provide for seven blocks of skid row. After building was completed, we enlisted the youth of our community to add artwork to the washing stations.
In December 2021, the CEO of Drop Pin was recognized for this contribution and presented with the Freedom Now Award.
As the pandemic continues, we still provide manpower, creative solutions, and distribution assets.
